Grapes: Sangiovese

Character: Intense aroma with clear notes of strawberries, violets, cherries and spices. Great taste with well-developed tannin structure, good cherry fruit, notes of plum and vanilla that give the taste richness and length.

Goes well with: Excellent with bird, dark meat, meat dishes and pasta dishes. 

About the wine: Chianti Classico wines must be aged for at least one year before being released for sale. This wine has been aged for one year and ten months in 500-liter French oak barrels, known as tonneaux. 30% of the barrels were new.
