Grapes: 100% Chardonnay

Character: Elegant and mineral with notes of fresh citrus fruit. 

Goes well with:
Excellent as an aperitif, or with white fish or seafood dishes.

About the wine: L’inattendue is an illustration of one of the principles of savoir-faire that has guided the House since its foundation: the cultivation of the diversity of Champagne terroirs. It reveals a terroir through a singular year and a unique grape variety. The Chardonnay comes from the famous Côte des Blancs, more specifically the Grand Cru village of Chouilly.  The dosage is 2g/L and and the wine is aged four years in the cellar before release.
