Grapes: 50% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir

Character: Complex, intense and elegant with hints of candied citrus fruits, peach, brioche, and a fine minerality.

Goes well with:
Excellent as an aperitif, or with white fish or seafood dishes.

About the wine: Henriot Hemera 2013 is a blend of the six founding crus, with each represented in equal part, through a singular year. The wine is made up of 50% Pinot Noir and 50% Chardonnay from six Grand Crus, Verzy, Verzenay, Mailly-Champagne in Montagne de Reims and Avize, Chouilly, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in Côte des Blancs. The dosage is 3.5g/L and and the wine is aged ten years in the cellar before release.
