Grapes: Grenache blanc, Roussanne, Viognier, Clairette and Bourboulenc.
Character: Chapoutier Belleruche Blanc is a full-bodied and flavorful white wine from the Côtes du Rhône, the Rhone Valley in beautiful golden yellow color. The aroma offers hints of pear, apricot, fennel, fresh herbs and floral notes. The flavor is complex and elegant with notes of anise on the finish.
Goes well with: Excellent with flavorful dishes of fish and or with light meat.
About the wine: Harvest is carried out at night by machine to prevent and limit oxidation of the juices and preserve the aromatic components. The vinification is total destemming followed by a light skin maceration particularly for the Viognier, gentle pressing. Cold static settling. Alcoholic fermentation at low temperature in stainless steel vats. The wine is protected from oxygen to preserve its aromatic potential.
