About the wine: Bila-Haut V.I.T. is a full-bodied and flavorful red wine from Côtes-du-Roussillon-Villages. All grapes are harvested by hand and the wine consists of 65% Grenache and 35% Syrah. The vineyards are located along the slopes of the Agly valley which is characterized by calcareous clay soils with elements of schist from the Devonian period. The skin maceration lasts 4 weeks to bring out the unique character of the wine. The wine gets its maturity through 18 months of oak barrel storage.
