The origins of the Ricossa family begin towards the end of the 19th century, in the Asti area of Piedmont. Here they founded a well-known distillery that soon became a flagship of the region. Today, Ricossa continues to carry on its tradition by producing award-winning and globally recognized wines that reflect the unique territory of Piedmont. Today, Ricossa is a leader in the organic production of Barolo, Barbareso and Barbera. Of the latter grape, Ricossa is one of the major producers in Piedmont. From its own winery, Antica Ricossa produces wines that are very high quality in a popular price range.
