Artisan, Familial Work
The still family-run winery has roots dating back to 1834. Knowledge, lessons, and passion have been passed down from generation to generation. In the late 1950s, Francesco Rocca moved the family’s operations from central Barbaresco to Rabajà, which was already known for its exceptionally high quality. Bruno Rocca established himself more precisely in southeastern Rabajà, right next to an amphitheater-like area of vineyards with Nebbiolo vines.
Bruno Rocca values history, tradition, and has great respect for the land they cultivate, so much so that they call themselves “guardians of the earth.” Today, Luisa and Francesco, Bruno Rocca’s children, run the winery, still with Bruno’s watchful eye and valuable expertise. The Rocca family’s wines are some of the most elegant Barbaresco wines we can find on the market. With perfect balance, typicity, and silky tannins, they carry the legacy forward in a clear direction towards quality and tradition.
