Hugel Gentil

Grapes: Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Gris and Gewürztraminer. 

Character: A grapey and floral white wine from Alsace. Tangibly fruity with aromatic hints exemplified by notes of pear, honey, peach white flowers and citrus. Lively finish with fresh acidity.  

Goes well with: With its complexity and breadth, this wine stands up to savory and spicy dishes. Preferably inspired by Asian cuisine. Best served at 8°C

About the wine: All grapes are hand-picked and come from limestone-rich clay soils in and around Riquewihr. The residual sweetness is 4 g/l. After the must is pressed, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks at 18 - 24°C.
