Character: Nuanced, fruity character with hints of red fruit, blood orange and Mediterranean herbs. The wine is light and fresh with a lively expressive character.

About the wine: Motor Callet is a red wine made with a Callet of young vineyards with ecological certification, located in clay loam soils containing ferric oxide, known as "Call Vermell".'Motor' is a label for occasional, ‘experimental’ wines in small batches. To quote Francesc, “Motor is the R&D of 4 Kilos, a line of wines under the same name which allows us to investigate new and old ways of vinifying using different materials – clay, wood, and cement in the search for the Mediterranean identity of our terroir.” The vines are grown organically with minimal intervention.  After the manual harvest with grapes selected in the vineyard itself, it is fermented in cubs (brick and concrete vats that are traditional in the area). Here it is aged for about 3 months. It contains no added sulphites.
