Produktserie: Scarpa

Known for the world-famous red Piedmontese grape varieties, Scarpa is located in Nizza Monferrato, Piedmont. The winery was founded in the mid-1850s by Antonio Scarpa, a visionary migrant from Venice. Scarpa now continues in the footsteps of Mario Pesce, a Nizza-born winemaker who, in the 1940s, made Scarpa what it is today. Just as in his time, the quality of the wines depends on sustainable agriculture, traditional winemaking, and long bottle aging. Today, Scarpa produces great wines from Barolo, Barbaresco, and other regions in Piedmont.
