Three generations live, work and produce wine together at Tenuta Pfitscher. Founded in 1861, the family-run winery is located in the small village of Montagna, just south of Bolzano in Alto Adige, and produces genuine mountain wines where experience meets innovation. Klaus Pfitscher consolidated his progressive ideas when he studied the different soil types among its dizzyingly high slopes and mountains in order to express this unique terroir through the wines. Today, Klaus has the help of his children, the seventh generation of Pfitscher's to take the success story forward. The whole family is involved in driving Pfitscher forward, while the roots are deeply connected to the 160-year-old tradition of producing sustainable wines with South Tyrolean identity.
