Produktserie: Grégoire Hoppenot

Grégoire Hoppenot has been working in Beaujolais for many years, first as a wine merchant and later as a winemaker. This long history on the ground has given Greg a great opportunity to see how the origin affects the wine in the glass. As Greg himself puts it, “...real estate agents only talk about how location affects the value of an object” and this is true for wine too. Origin is key. Domaine Hoppenot today encompasses several climats, vineyards, mainly in Fleurie but also Morgon. They are fortunate to work with vineyards of great age and which have been managed for decades with the greatest possible care. Greg is now in charge of this heritage and the conditions of the different locations are visible not only in the vineyards but above all in the outstanding wines.
