Four generations of quiet innovation.

The De Martino family arrived in Chile from Italy in 1934, settling in Isla de Maipo just outside Santiago. Initially focused on classic Bordeaux varieties, they have since become one of Chile’s most influential wine families—driven by a clear ambition to explore and highlight distinctive vineyard sites. Today, De Martino owns over 300 hectares of vineyards across some of Chile’s most respected wine regions. Their work is defined by precision, modern winemaking, and a strong commitment to sustainability, with much of their farming now certified organic. In 1996, De Martino made history as the first Chilean producer to export a wine made from Carmenère—long before the grape became the country’s signature. With more than 80 years of heritage and a fourth generation now at the helm, the family continues to push forward with innovation, while staying rooted in origin and environmental responsibility.
