Calvados Lelouvier
Calvados since 1933
Calvados Lelouvier, founded by Alain Lelouvier in 1933 in Briouze, Normandy, became renowned for its quality Calvados and Cider under the leadership of his son, Christian Lelouvier, in the 1970s. Christian continued the family tradition of distilling and blending Calvados from small producers, achieving global recognition. After the last owner passed away, Christian Drouin, a long-time business partner, acquired the company. Guillaume Drouin now leads both companies, maintaining their shared philosophy of quality. Lelouvier's Calvados, distilled using a single-distillation system, offers a distinct taste compared to Christian Drouin's double-distilled products.
