Oscar Alegre worked many years alongside Spain's most renowned wine professionals such as Alvaro Palacios and Telmo Rodriguez, before he decided to settle in Sajazarra, La Rioja with his wife Eva Valgañon to start his own boutique winery. Here he found the land that suited the style he wanted to preserve, a modern interpretation and more elegant version of the traditional Rioja we are used to. Still with great respect for history but with a new approach that goes hand in hand with the couple's philosophy.

Today Oscar converted an old garage into a winery and has big plans to expand in the local area, but he does not want to become industrial, a few hectares of vineyards are all he needs and with the help of old friends he buys fruit for his two entry-level wines with extremely careful selection and traceability of origin. This is Spain's brightest shining star producing wines of incompareable quality and distinction.
