Already in 1958 Michele Chiarlo bottled his first Barolo bottle with only a few hectares of vineyards in his possession, today you can safely look back on the successful history Michele Chiarlo created and which his sons Stefano and Alberto continue. With just over 110 hectares located in Langhe, Monferrato and Gavi, they produce world-class wines from famous cru locations such as Cerequio, Cannubi, Asili and Faset. The still family-owned company has become one of Piedmont's most recognizable names and has been instrumental in the region's rise in quality. With an eye on the future, they work in a very sophisticated way in terms of sustainability and respect for the environment both in the vineyards and in the winery. Preserving the landscape and human impact on the environment is at the forefront and in fact Michele Chiarlo was one of Italy's first producers to be certified under VIVA.
